Meet Dr Pyal Patel!
Dr Pyal Patel is an NHS GP who specializes in Dermatology. When covid-19 hit and people around the world were forced into quarantine, she began to share her knowledge online as a woman working in STEM, focusing on skincare, health, motherhood, cooking and so much more.
Through her Instagram, Pyal has grown a cult following of predominately female followers as she delivers her advice, which is often tailored to her follower’s specific needs or queries.
Her personal, honest approach has helped her gain their trust making her extremely credible within the influencer world.
Pyal let us know what role makeup, in particular concealer, plays in her life and this is what she had to say!
“Concealer to me, is so much more than a concealer. Concealer helps me to feel like I have taken that power and confidence back in my busy day to day.
When I don't wear concealer, I often get people commenting saying that I look so tired or asking me 'have you not had a good night sleep?' And this is me getting real and saying: NO! I am not tired, I have had a good night's sleep! This is just the way I look and there's actually nothing wrong with that.
Having said that, I do love that the Radiant Concealer & Brightening Duo makes me look more awake in a subtle, bright-eyed way. But sometimes we just have to be straight-forward: this is the way I look without makeup and not because of another cause or stress in my life!”
